She was popping toast in the toaster, and popped the spring down so they would start to toast. At the mention of last night, and Yael, her vision dropped to the floor for a few moments of silence, "I don't want to see that bastard for a few days. What'd he say?" The toast promptly popped out, and she turned around and grabbed it, busying herself in buttering the pieces up. Koya handed Dima his piece, and went to go fetch some milk from the fridge.

Dima munched on the toast, wiping the crumbs from his mouth with the corner of his sweatshirt sleeve. "Yeah......yesterday was like a Yael overload for me. " He chuckled half-heartedly, wincing at his own words. Some kind of best friend he was.

Koya nodded, "Yeah, and you even left before he slapped me." She munched a couple times on her toast as well, hoping he wouldn't be too shocked/pissed at Yael, "So what did you guys say earlier?"
She poured them both milk and passed him his glass, finishing up her toast and getting up for a bowl of dry cereal too. Koya put the milk away and grabbed the box of cereal, pouring it into a bowl she retrieved. Offering some of the sugary Lucky Charms to Dima, she took a handful and downed it, crunching on the bits of cereal and taking a swig of milk here and there.

Dima felt rage bubble up in him, but it was smothered just a bit as Koya began to talk again. He answered after taking a handful of Lucky Charms and a drink of milk to wash them down. After crunching the cereal, he talked. "Nothing, really. Just him apologizing for being such a dick yesterday. Rare occurrence." He grinned.
"...and my board. Poor piece of shit."

Before she knew it, the sun was rising from behind the mountains. This happened a lot to Cassie, losing track of time, whenever she played her cello, hours tuned into minutes. She figured her parent's argument had blown over by now, and that it was safe to finally head home. Slipping her cello back into its case, she stood up from the bench she had been sitting on and stretched her aching muscles. She slid the straps over her shoulders and began the walk home. Absentmindedly, she pulled the lighter from her pocket and repeatedly flicked the lighter open and closed, striking a flame in between Was that toast she could smell? Or was her empty stomach just playing tricks on her. She slid into her house through the back door and silently walked upstairs. Her parents had evidently left for work, for the house was silent. The smell of toast was still stuck in her nose, so she dropped her cello at the top of the stairs and went back to the kitchen for a little bit of food.

She snorted, "We shouldn't be the one apologizing to him. It should be the other way around. And what happened to your board?" Whatever had happened to his board last night, she had been to sulky and pissed to notice the commotion with his board. Wondering what Yael had said in response earlier, she loaded Dima with another question "What did Yael do when you talked to him?"

"Yeah, you're right. I guess." He shrugged his shoulders, and continued on talking. "Yael's dad stepped on it, and it snapped. It was a pretty ragged break, and I tried to fix it at home, but it just wasn't happening." Dima took another handful of cereal and crunched it over before answering her other question. "He apologized, said he was sorry." Dima shrugged like he didn't really believe it, but he still wanted to.

Koya snorted and chomped into the toast again, talking while she was chewing, "Yeah, I want to see him have the balls come say he's sorry to me... Bastard...." She mentally replayed when he slapped her last night, and crunched furiously on her toast, strangely feeling sad with her anger. Sitting down, she huffed and swallowed her last bite of toast, "Did he mention me at all?"

"No." Dima shrugged. "He only said that he felt bad." He took one last handful of cereal and finished it off with the last of his drink. "I don't know if he is telling the truth or not, I'm a bad judge of character." He always gave people too many chances, that was his problem. Because Dima believed everyone could change, he had hope in everybody. Dima was a cheeseball. "That's all he said." He concluded.

She crossed her arms and averted her gaze to the floor, "Well, he'll come over here and say he's sorry if it's really true."
"Do you want to go upstairs and play some music?" ----------------
Yael smashed his drum sticks into his drums, keeping a furious pace with the drum beat to a Metallica song he didn't remember the name of. He was pissed off at namely himself, he was an asshole, but that was too horrible of him last night. The worst thing was he actually remembered this time, what could've gone on when he made Koya really pissed and didn't remember it?
This happened to much, he really needed to become less insecure about himself, maybe this wouldn't happen every time any intoxicating substance let his emotions run rampant. He set the drumsticks down, more of a throwing motion, and grabbed his bike, planning on riding over to Koya's.

"Sure!" Dima said with a grin. Music sweep all his worries away in a flurry of notes and tunes. He hummed a bit, remembering this certain Red Hot Chili Peppers song that he wouldn't mind learning the base too. "You know anything new?" He asked, his brows arched as he waited for Koya to answer his question.

"WELL," she answered loudly, begining to walk over to where the hatch door was to her attic, "I've been working out the riff on my electric guitar to Guerilla Radio and Down Rodeo by R.A.T.M, but you can't really play any Rage without a beast drum player.... And Yael is being an assface." She sighed, climbing up the ladder and entering her room, turning on the amp and plugging her electric guitar.
Koya strapped it around her shoulder, shaking her bangs to the side only for them to fall over her dark eyes again. Starting to loudly play out Down Rodeo, she muted, plucked, and strummed in all the correct places. Attempting to sing, she shook her head and laughed her voice, continuing until she messed up in the complex, rapid strumming.

"Keep going," Dima said, as an idea popped up in his mind.

She laughed, and started over, strumming out and deciding to sing in her scratchy voice this time, "Yeah I'm rolling down Rodeo with a shotgun, these people aint seen a brown skinned man since their grandparents bought one!" she continued on for a while, singing at random points here and there, before she stopped, "What were you going to do?"
-----------------------------
Yael was encroaching upon Koya's house, and had a huge road rash on his chin and knees from crashing a couple times. He simply parked his bike and surveyed the house. Hearing the noises of electric guitar and not seeing her Aunt's car, he simply walked in and got prepared to walk upstairs and appoligize.

“Well, since I seem to be without my bass guitar, I was going to sing along…but I guess not.” Dima shrugged, a sort of half smile on his face. He ran a hand through his brown hair, hating how the slight curls on the nape of his neck curled around his fingers. With a frown, he looked to her door as he heard the door downstairs shut.
