Yael climbed the ladder to the attic tentatively, pausing a couple times and thinking of what he was going to say. It took a couple moments for his brain's wheels to start turning, but they did eventually. He burst through the trapdoor in the floor- er, it was really a more quiet opening in creak- and into the room. Staring at Dima, who was also here, he got all the more nervous. It was pathetic.
Looking Koya in the eye, he modestly let out a small, "Hey.."

"...nevermind." Dima stated, not meeting Yael's eyes and looking out of Koya's window at the tops of the trees. They swayed in the breeze, strong but not against the wind that was ever so relentless. The same wind that carved out canyons, knocked over buildings, wrecked lives. The tension was thick in the air, so much that Dima felt a sort of nervous feeling drip from Yael's only word.
